We collect personal information, including your first and last name and your email address, when you create an account on our web application. We also collect and store any documents you upload to the platform. Additionally, limited usage data may be collected to help us improve our services and enhance your overall experience.  

2. Reasons for Data Collection and Use
The personal information we collect is used to communicate with you regarding your account, services, and any updates to our platform. The documents and data you upload are used exclusively to provide the analyses or insights you request. We do not use your personal information or uploaded content for any other purpose.  

3. Data Storage and Privacy Measures
All data, including your personal information, is securely managed and stored in Sydney, Australia, using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Our data management configuration ensures privacy and security, with no external parties granted access to your data. InsightWise uses a serverless platform within a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) network, leveraging AWS’s robust infrastructure and compliance certifications (including ISO 27001, ISO 27017, ISO 27018, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3) to maintain isolation and protection of your data.  

4. Data Usage and Retention
We use your data strictly for the purposes you specify. Once the stated purpose is fulfilled, any residual data is securely deleted in accordance with our retention policies. Your data is never repurposed or used for secondary objectives.  

5. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information
If you need to update or correct your personal information, you may do so by contacting us at support@insightwise.ai. For uploaded documents or analysis-generated data, you have the option to remove them at any time by deleting the files or projects within the platform. Alternatively, you may request complete removal of such data by contacting us at support@insightwise.ai.  

6. Compliance and Security Measures
We regularly conduct audits and security assessments to ensure compliance with the    Australian Privacy Act and relevant industry best practices. Our security measures are designed to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of your data.  

7. Incident Response
In the event of a security incident or data breach, we have a comprehensive incident response plan in place. This includes immediate containment, thorough investigation, timely notification of affected parties, and implementation of remedial actions to prevent future occurrences.  

8. Lodging a Complaint
If you believe your privacy has been breached or you have a complaint regarding our handling of your personal information, you may contact us at support@insightwise.ai. A member of our team will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and respond substantively within 5 days. We take all complaints seriously and will work diligently to address and resolve any privacy-related issues.
