As announced in the AFR, today InsightWise successfully closed a $1M pre-seed funding round.
The round was led by California-based Venture Capital firm ALIAVIA Ventures and Sydney-based family office, No Brand Holdings, with participation from Wollemi Capital Group, FB10x and strategic angels across Australia and the US.
"We built InsightWise because we saw consultants drowning in data but starving for insights," said Katherine Tobias, Co-Founder and CEO of InsightWise. "Our platform eliminates the huge manual burden that has traditionally slowed teams down, creating a clear path from raw data to high-impact decision-making in minutes. With this investment, we're not just scaling a platform, we're creating a new landscape where strategic intelligence drives decisions at a speed and scale previously unimaginable."
InsightWise’s breakthrough agentic platform seamlessly integrates across the entire consulting lifecycle, radically reducing the time required for typical consulting tasks like proposal development, stakeholder engagement and strategy creation. By delegating tasks to InsightWise that often take weeks of manual labour, consultants are able to significantly amplify the impact they deliver for clients and communities.
“With InsightWise, we’ve aggregated multiple documents in various formats into a single source of truth for our knowledge base. Tasks that once took hours or even weeks can now be completed in minutes”, said a Manager in NSW Government.
Team blending deep consulting and AI expertise
InsightWise's founding team is uniquely positioned to transform the consulting industry, combining Katherine’s deep domain experience in top-tier consulting firms with Matthew’s AI expertise.
“Katherine and Matthew have demonstrated incredible vision for the future of consulting. We are super excited to be involved as they scale the business globally.” Marisa Warren, who joins the InsightWise Board, is the Founder & Managing Partner at California-based ALIAVIA Ventures.
Pioneering the future of consulting
This investment comes at a pivotal moment for the consulting industry. Firms globally are under mounting pressure to deliver more value in less time while tackling increasingly complex client challenges. The traditional consulting business model, characterised by lengthy engagements and labour-intensive analysis, is no longer viable in the face of client expectations for rapid, data-driven insights that can be immediately operationalised.
InsightWise doesn't merely automate existing processes, it creates an entirely new consulting paradigm. Built to think and operate like an expert consultant, the platform can process thousands of complex data points simultaneously, revealing mission-critical opportunities and risks that are often overlooked, and instantaneously producing actionable strategies and roadmaps.
“Investing in InsightWise was an easy decision. The team has a deep understanding of the huge challenge the industry is facing and the platform is positioned to be a leading player in shaping a new value proposition for consultants across the globe”. Craig Weaver, former MD at Baker Tilly and angel investor.
The investment will accelerate InsightWise's platform development, deep research functionality and US market expansion.
